I bought my first bitcoin in December 2021.

Over the course of Q1 2022, I understood the core difference between bitcoin and crypto, thanks to bitcoin maximalists on twitter, podcasts, articles and books. I stacked more sats along the way.

Between Q2 and Q3 2022, I kept stacking sats as the bear market was creeping in, especially with the collapse of Celsius, BlockFI and Luna. My bitcoin knowledge was consolidating, and I finally took responsibility and adopted full self-custody.

Q4 2022, in the aftermath of FTX's collapse, my conviction was unshaken and I stacked more sats even though I would confess I was preposterously afraid. I accepted my fears and kept living within my means.

2023, bitcoin crawling up was a peculiar experience. For over a year, I never knew anything but red bitcoin charts.

I don't what a bitcoin bull market is, I don't know what to expect, but I'm grateful for the journey so far. I learned a lot, as my worldview changed irreversibly. For the better.
