Being “normal” really is the path to an unfulfilling life and early grave. Normals:

Eat whatever (insulin resistant). Drink alcohol daily (dependence). Don’t workout (fat and weak). Accumulate debt (long-term slave to wage labor). Spend time and money on pop culture and sports (escapism). Cares about the current thing to fit in (easily manipulated). Believes the system cares about them and they can change things by voting and paying taxes (stupid). Thinks pharmaceuticals can heal the damage caused by their laziness and negligence (delusional). Trusts establishment “experts” to take care of their finances instead of taking responsibility (HFSP). Let’s state agencies “educate”, “medicate” and “feed” their progeny (inadequate).

So glad I am not normal. I’d never disrespect my precious time in such ways. Stay weird 👑🫡

I still maintain that alot of the recent issues around clients only reading from the top 5 relays would be alleviated by having http relay. Managing WebSocket subscriptions is a pain, I'd much rather just shoot out http requests to the different relays that a one off note may be found in.

Just like a website could show 100 images from different domains, we can fetch 100 notes from different relays with http reqs. I don't believe the narrative that http relays would impair client perf.

Has anyone considered a weekly nostr devs call? Seems like it could be useful for keeping devs on the same page and aware of one anothers' pain points. #asknostr
