Another meme I have on my computer relevant for today 🤣 :

Yesterday's sketch session during a poetry festival held in Penne, a pretty village not far from where I live. I really enjoy these new sheets of kraft paper.

nostr:npub15cduqertz3tg25dgp48rkvq9qwsvlv0324g82kedy5dmu77q345ssx3mv2 okay, why have i not thought of this, i've been annoyed at my Cintiq not having shortcut buttons for a while

i could probably even 3D print a thing for the unused right side pen holder on this thing

nostr:npub1ds3ma0llwefp4zzc547en9vkcszgt6myvq2g6wdycx9tckjkuy7sd5truq Oh 😮 If you have access to a 3D printer, you'll make wonders with it.

I just tested the setup with a https://www.8bitdo.com/zero2/ (it has a keyboard mode that evtest or input-remapper catches); because it is wireless and its size, it's a good mini remote command for shortcut. I think I'll paint mine this week-end. 😆

nostr:npub1yfkcg0kj52l4hr2ljl3e2x6dnx6dxsmjn6snr29hh5yf2agderpsnngc49 Update! I had this bluetooth gamepad at home (a cute mini 8BitDo Zero 2 https://www.8bitdo.com/zero2/) and if I put it in keyboard mode; evtest catches the events and gives the product/vendor info (not listed in lsusb).

I also got feedback about an utility 'input-remapper' that makes all of the setup easy with a GUI. So it should work with bluetooth keypad as well following the same method. I updated the article.

The README has install method for Fedora and it was easy to install. It works really well and detect my Keyboard, my Xp-Pen buttons, button on my USB microphone! It really can input macros (multiple keys, composed shortcuts, and special keys) and you can have multiple presets for the same device. It cannot neutralize devices with hardcoded multiple keys (expected). I'll update the article with a note 😍

Yes, my tablet is more recent than 2019 for sure for the first release.

nostr:npub14yqjkzqkgv4a27egvq5xmh2ravemytg9g5kldqeqfts92uvh90sq2vrfl3 nostr:npub12h4getudurqwx3mswqy93l4unrddcx64jd5cy5fdlm3q27kpmlhs7chyae Hey, yes, I use the XP Pen 24 Pro, but with the Free/Libre Digimend Driver (x11). Becareful about the 'linux' driver on the download/support page of (now almost all) cheap tablet brand: the driver is proprietary and poor quality. No idea how they'll maintain it in time. Better to find a tablet compatible with at least Digimend imo.

nostr:npub15cduqertz3tg25dgp48rkvq9qwsvlv0324g82kedy5dmu77q345ssx3mv2 the energy and vibe has definitely changed. I agree with the other comments. It's beautiful to see those pieces. They are great. I also like what you're doing now. There is this feel of awe and connection to our inner child defending what's right...

I am curious: how did you settled on your actual style?

nostr:npub1px2dqqn7rtk4mnnzccrpvpt2hx5jvya0und3t9268wahn2qamgpsnlkmjn Thank you !

My actual style was probably forged with the evolution of my taste. I had strong tendencies to smooth everything when I was younger, almost until not a single brush stroke was visible. More like classic paintings. Now I like to see some parts "raw", exposing the economy of brush stroke and texture. I also had to divide my time budget; I couldn't spend 30h on a painting anymore (especially on panels of Pepper&Carrot), so I learned to simplify and to adapt with what I could.
