It's got the most value and development behind it. It's the canonical version of crypto kind of like Mastodon is the canonical version of Fedi. It's not anything special technically, it's just got more momentum and people behind it.

I am leaving mainstream Nostr. We’re on edge Nostr now. Obscure dark alley relays only.

Removing a few relays shouldn't make me go from following 3.5K people, to 0. I still have 10 relays that I've been using this whole time.

It's not the first time this has happened, there's some kind of bug with relays that makes them overwrite your follows with a blank list when you start adjusting them.

Never want to tweak with my relays again because somehow, every single time, I end up following zero people.

Aaand Nostr erased all my follows

I just copied a few people but some of them were following like 700-800.

Surprisingly, the timeline isn't overly populated. I'm guessing lots of dead accounts. I also only have 2 mainstream relays so that could be limiting it too.
