Well, kind of. Somehow, the Aeropress brings out some sour notes. And it transformed something that was once terrible into something tolerable.
But this is still Tim Hortons coffee and it still sacks you over the head with bitterness. Still better than Starbucks, but only barely. And if your choice is between Maxwell House and whole bean Tim Hortons, well, grab this bag.
However, this is still not premium coffee—not by a long shot.

For the first time in a year, I played a video game on my 62” TV.
Typically, I don’t do this because the 4K resolution caps off at 30fps. And I’d rather have a high framerate than high resolution.
But there’s also something to be said about having people watch me play. I really do get it.
Trying something I have t done in awhile: finish a video game.
I got pretty far today, and would have beat the game. But then my kid started watching me play, got really into it, and asked for me to finish it tomorrow so she can go to bed.
So I’m doing that so she can watch the ending.

My problem is that I keep debating how I’m going to have fun.
But this debate take so long, I just wind up not having fun.

It’s fascinating because I suspect sociopathy is almost the polar opposite of autism.
Sociopaths feel intellectual empathy but not emotional empathy. Personally, I feel emotional empathy, not intellectual empathy.
I’ve come to see music formats like vinyl, tape, and even MP3s as a musical instrument.
This isn’t a new insight. DJs figured this out 50 years ago.
