ok tried freetube, seems good, settings page is nice, i like the chapter selection, i played a video and worked well but tried another and got an error and it wont play videos now, doesnt seem to play rumble either
newpipe is an android app, makes it easy to resume, download, subscribe without an account, no ads, no tracking, no google shitware etc

there is a fork of youtube app newpipe called bravenewpipe that allows rumble and bitchute, you need to paste links in search but can click and subscribe in app etc
newpipe wont add support for those platforms as they are woke kek

some nostr clients have p2p link support like iris supports webtorrent, i think ideally we always address media via hashes etc and then clients can choose to fetch via p2p or servers etc, relays can then also support media easily
media will currently destroy nostr relays, we need p2p for that, but current 'text only' nostr would make a great comment overlay for youtube or more, also great for sharing torrents, maybe we add webtorrents to a nostr app?
