Come on tell us more about whats happening on the hardware side. I'm personally interested since everything I do is software and never really got a chance to play around with raspberry pis and ardunios.
Why do we need a flow meter? Solenoid valve?
Really happy to see hardware getting built. Is there any help / feedback you're looking for?
Also what would the difference be serving beer vs another drink? For example, at HUB21 (belgrade hackerspace) we wanted to have a Rakiya dispenser since it'd be more Serbian. Could your hardware be configured for different types of drinks?
Since Rakiya is a bit stronger, and well we don't wanna promote drinking too much while working I was thinking imagine the cost of a drink starts really high in the morning, then gradually goes down to a normal price by 5:00PM -- since you don't want someone staying at the hacker space too late though, it starts to go back up after 8:00PM
Then that could all be viewed / configured by hackerspace admins on the electron / mobile app with some funny stats showing alcohol consumption vs cost.

UX is going to be key.
\- USD Cash + Bank as fiat is \[relatively\] easy to move around at least locally
\- USDT on tron (as most people use probably) just requires a single key
\- StableSats just requires a phone number
Could you describe some of the design challenges USDP will have?
damn that's a lot of work in the timespan of the BTC Indonesia hackathon, amazing!
Are you looking for feedback?
ok @SF i know we kinda co-opted your comments section to discuss images in comments. sorry! but whoa can't believe we have image uploads!

yo check out what https://bolt.fun/project/resolvr is doing, could be relevant
loooool. omg no no tha'ts a good reason for us to try to support it. you are officiually the first person to try this, and i'd love to have image support. at least rendering from nostr would be a good first step. then we'll figure out how to handle uploads
\> Now imagine that with an audience, able to control camera/lights over midi.
oo... the audience controlling the lightning and are conductors too?!
interesting...
this is very interesting...
Also... WRT your own station... Do you also stream to YouTube? If not how come? Big audience over there no?
It’s funny, @Lana and I were discussing a Lofi Hip Hop style channel for BOLT.FUN makers a couple weeks ago. She's an artist/illustrator, so we were thinking of getting her to flex those skills to make some cool visual like the LoFi girl but in the "BOLT.FUN Universe"
STFU and take my sats... I wanna launch my own and maybe others too!
I'm curious – is the goal to allow others to deploy their own "stations" or is it primarily for your own station? The notion of being able to deploy one of these, infuse our own graphics/theme, yet retain a similar mechanism for adding tunes and viewing the chat would be fantastic, even as a self-service platform or if you could consult with folks who might want to launch one for themselves. For example, we have a hackerspace in Belgrade, Serbia, and members of the community who work from it could control the music there, OR those who are in the Telegram community could "mess with us" creating a connection for those working in the hub, as well as the wider community.
Whats the story?? Had a bad encounter with a DJ? 😅 It's ok this is a safe space.

Yo, your youtube got some great content! Cool project too! A long time ago I used to use Vim (when I had the time to code) was really proud of my NERDTree setup with Tmux, YouCompleteMe, and Tabular on Vim but I think your setup is next level esp with Nostr integrated now 😁!
For markdown I write on Obsidian these days and actually another maker created a plugin for it to post to Nostr too. You can check it out here: https://bolt.fun/story/introducing-nostr-writer-obsidian-plugin--999
Glad to have you back yalls been killing it! I think @Anipy does Flutter I'll send him this post see if he'd be down to help. You can reach out too.
\> Making sure the money you lose goes to a good cause is very noble. However, if you want to get some extra accountability pick a foe or an anti-charity. Knowing that your money will go to a person or cause that you don’t like will push you to work extra hard to achieve your goal.
This is is like self-flagellation. The ways we try to program ourselves is quite funny sometimes, I find the putting money at stake vs anti-charity approach more interesting though, but it would have to be a high enough amount that the person should care about losing. That makes things a bit tricky, and I guess the benefit of bitcoin is that it can be cheaper to move from/to your account.
For the anti-charity one, thinking about it now I guess the reason to support both options is that someone might find their beliefs more important that the money they would loose. If you put 50$ at stake for if you complete your task but don't care about that 50$ it might just not get done.
There could also maybe other types of non-monetary one like if it would automatically message someone you don't want to message could also be interesting to keep people motivated. Could be some interesting cryptographic stuff done there too. It in a way also acts as a deadmans' switch.

Yoo dropped 50k sats for the bounty hopefully it helps!
What do you mean by building Badges specifically?
Re: Nostr authentication with Login with Nostr
Our version of login works a bit different from what Geyser does. They want to ensure that the user has a Nostr extension, so they can sign the nostr notes. This is great for people who don't want BOLT.FUN to have access to their private keys. Which is ideal!
We on the other hand have custodial nostr (keys stored on behalf of users, which is inline with our goal of helping onboard people who are not familiar with all this new tech). Our Nostr Sign In though works just like our email sign-in. You receive a DM to your account which you'd check via Damus, or some other mobile Nostr app. Long story short, our Nostr Sign-in doesn't give us the same ability as Geyser, but we do have keys that we can sign the badges with.
Yo @marko this is awesome, could you integrate your other project Shoki to fetch youtube transcripts/summaries on a specific topic/person? Then you could do this for a bunch of celebs on YouTube like a AI MrBeast or 50 Cent who's always dropping some business / life lessons. Or AI Drake, for relationship advise 😁
ye MTG is a sort of influencer on LinkedIn actually :D
