I’m not interested in politics, and never really understand how a country runs. I’m just more and more aware that if it really exists and more or less my life will have something to do with it the I’d better know the rule and try to understand it.
In fact, this book gives me a really new perspective to view politics and how it works. And it cannot only be applied to policy/ country, but almost every organization like companies.
No matter democracy or autocracy, they are made up of three groups of people, interchangeable influential and essential. And the winners, they just want to stay in power and the only difference lies in the size of coalition. So their action differs because the people they need to plaisir differ.
Not everyone wants the same thing, not everything is good for everyone. But no one wants to cause misery, there’s not that much conspiracy theory, it’s only the conflict of benefit.
A world without car horn would be a better world 🫡

Like Oppenheimer a lot. Never seen the biography, the storyline of the movie is quite appealing, from his university, manhattan project and the unjust treatment after World War Two.
It’s a shame that we always punish those brought us fire, maybe because we don’t understand, or maybe simply because of envy.
But it’s those people who show us the glory of human mind and get the impossible possible.

0630 in the morning, I was expecting a totally empty subway but it turns out I don’t even have a seat at this time! And the people feel like a different group compared with the rush hour(8am-10am in my previous experience).
Life is so diverse even within a city, what I live what I know is soooooo insignificant.
I remember we’ve got machine learning course in college, but it’s quite boring I can remember we just downloaded some dataset like the character of iris and pip some packages and do some predictions.

Take part in an event the other day and the MC of that event really impressed me, I don’t think the event was amazing but I really like the MC, her profession her outlook. After the event I returned to the office and met her accidentally in the elevator. We had an eye contact and I almost wanna tell her how amazing she is but I haven’t

Second time watching kung-fu panda and really enjoy it.

Although it’s a simple story that a seemed no-talent panda accidentally became the dragon warrior and finally beat the bad one, it really successfully conveys some Wu Wei philosophy.

I sleep well last night and when I opened my phone this morning, I have this feeling that I don’t wanna waste my time on the screen. What a progress! Although I don’t know what I want to do, but I just feel I’m very refreshed and just wanna feel the sun the wind the world!
I now know that there’s no work life balance, balance is mediocrity. If you wanna make something, it requires VERY hard work, VERY long time invested. Why do you expect you can handle something or create something in a short period of time.
Good news is that it’s only a matter of choice, it’s also an advantage living in the modern society I guess, for if your choice is just living and chill, you have no need to put on that much effort to achieve that. You can live quite a decent life thanks to the abundance of commodity.
But if you choose to explore some of the limits, you need to commit really hard work. And if that’s your choice, I guess the work life balance won’t make any sense anymore, because you kind of blur the edge of both, and totally driven by curiosity. That’s also very cool.
And I feel no matter what you choose, as long as you like it, and don’t waver, that would be a good life.
