De Omtzigt Goldilocks zone: niet te oud, want dan heb je teveel lijken in de kast. Niet te jong, want dan heb je te zorgeloos social media gedrag vertoond.

And maybe a bot that you can DM for a zip file archive?
That's pretty much my response for the umpteenth time US politicians play chicken with predictable outcomes. Wake me up when shit hits the fan.
Except it's too cold here for the beach and I don't like heat anyway.
I travel with a single (Minaal) backpack with a smaller daypack inside of it. It typically weighs 12kg:
* bags themselves: 2.1kg
* laptop, ipad, kindle, keyboard, mouse, Roost stand: 3.6kg
* cloths: 3-4kg (depends on the weather)
* misc. stuff (hard shell for glasses, wallet, keys, electric toothbrush, toothpaste, notebook, cash in various currencies, flip flops, small umbrella, various cables, etc, etc): 2.5kg
The electronics might get a bit lighter in the future, but then I might just end up buying more screen real estate.
If true then this is the worst thing New Zealand ever did to the world :-)
Nothing is more annoying than having to check in luggage. It adds at least an hour to a trip, and yet another queue to waste time in. Bags also get delayed and lost constantly.

Why do I care? Well, IIUC the railway semaphore signals were named after this...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railway_semaphore_signal

And those in turn (as Sipa told me) were inspiration for Dijkstra's concept, where V meant "vrijgeven" ("releasing" the railway section for the next train) or "verhogen" (increase). And for P "tentatieve passering" (trying to pass), he invented the word "prolagen" ("probeer verlagen": try to decrease). And passing the signal implies marking it as unsafe.

Which is a long detour that helped me procrastinate on reviewing a small refactoring commit: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/28331/commits/2f9d577dbe38263d6040f3c3aaa5d32bb42d38bc

But you have to spend more on therapy because you don't have the latest gadgets :-)
Also these old phones are trivial for a government or other armed group to hack? (At least much cheaper)
Even though it's quite old, Visual Studio Code can use SSH to edit files that live on my faster machines, where stuff gets compiled. Its 5K monitor is still excellent.
On the bright side: I can do backwards compatibility testing on my 2017 iMac, now that macOS Sonoma doesn't support it...
Next time you want throw away money, donate to OpenSats please :-) That was the equivalent of at least one full time dev for a year.
Alternatively, I would have happily looked at that code for half an hour for $10K and tell you not to run it :-)
I'm all for testing on production. Especially when you can try it on testnet or signet first without losing funds. And it even looks like they did, yesterday.
Apparently MARA Pool took a template from Bitcoin Core and then sorted it by ascending fees. There's a reason Bitcoin Core doesn't do that... transaction *order* is critical. Hopefully they'll write a good post-mortem.

It's not clear how these are related, but it would make sense if they are.
