Chair Powell, is it true that you are now paying $700MM every day in interest to banks, a number which will hit $800MM daily when rates hit 5.5%, resulting in record "unrealized losses" for US taxpayers? https://twitter.com/zerohedge/status/1633135198253596674/photo/1
When will it hit $1 billion daily? It cannot be that far off if they keep rates high.

I have a feeling that New York is eventually going to kick out all Bitcoin miners
How does one pronounce c=? Is it "see equal"?
I still remember the day that I saw a loonie for the first time. I was in awe.
They are KYC free as long as you deposit less than $1k into the machine.
IIRC, online is KYC regardless of the amount.
Very odd. Thanks for letting me know and I will try and fix it.
The funny thing is that TOR was created by the US Government. People really need to be educated because if this was true, then their own government is responsible and should be named and shamed 😄
This is all a guess on my part so please don't nail me to the cross if I got this wrong 😄
I suspect the Shakepay Earn was shelved for 2 reasons:
1) The bear market is impacting their bottom line. They probably going have kept this going for a while yet but I guess it would eventually end if the bear market continued. But something else forced their hand....
2) The recent CSA requirement for exchanges to operate in Canada (https://www.osc.ca/en/securities-law/instruments-rules-policies/2/21-332/csa-staff-notice-21-332-crypto-asset-trading-platforms-pre-registration-undertakings-changes). I have a feeling that their Earn program might put them under the eyes of regulators, so they decided to mothball it before they get their wrist slapped.
Good to see #[0] on Nostr. They are a great place to buy Bitcoin, as it is non-custodial and offer very low spreads when buying online.
They also sell bitcoin through their network of ATMs. If you purchase bitcoin for less than $1,000 per day, they do not ask for any identification so it is essentially KYC-free bitcoin. The only caveat for the ATMs is the spread, which can vary between 9-15%.
Patrick Bet David had North Korean defector Yeonmi Park on his show. She outlined what it is like to have absolutely no freedom.
It is a concern to me that western nations adopt policy and release talking points that continue to take away our freedom. We are a far way from North Korea level of lack of freedom, but we are trending in the wrong direction and the gap continues to close.
Ubuntu Touch on the Pinephone Pro is pretty slick. It has a long way to go before it is ready as a daily driver but it definitely has potential.
Will that Bankless guy cry on stream after DeFi gets rugged by the SEC?
It may soon be time to rename that podcast to Valueless.
The view of a washroom at a NFT convention.
It supports GrapheneOS?
Ponzi buzz words:

If you come across any of these, run far away.
There are a lot of red flags here. The folks at the Canadian Bitcoiners Podcast have been saying Binance's days may be numbered.
Silvergate is taking a page out of Ukraine's book by asking for investors to send their sons and daughters savings over to them so they can remain afloat.
It is too bad they plan to make this move as compeititon in spot bitcoin ETFs will only drive down management fees. I'm surprised they didnt make a a whole new ETF.
Concerns about Silvergate was discussed months ago in the video below.
NYDIG was also discussed and I wouldn't be shocked to hear more negative news surrounding NYDIG. They keep taking haircuts from all the loans they handed out.
Play with fire and you will eventually get burned
