Agreed. I'm a pastor who strives imperfectly to address these kinds of things, but I'm honestly not always sure what the proper balance should be. If it's in the sermon, there's a danger that it becomes another kind of hobby horse that's not tied to the text. Of course there are other ways beyond the sermon to address these things. Just things I'm still thinking through. I'd be curious to hear more of your thoughts on this.
