I was immediately brought back to COVID hysteria tonight. One news alert about scary weather, set off a few sirens, and everyone panics. Incredible how malleable everyone is and how short lived their memories are. Fear is so powerful.

There was rain. News made it sound like it was going to be the set of Twister. Everyone right back to panic.
