The biggest grumble I have with nostr so far is the lack of content warnings and meta descriptions. I know there’s a NIP for CWs that hasn’t been widely adopted yet, but I haven’t even seen a mention of metas, might have to investigate further

I actually had to deal with somebody trying to use a twitter CDN image in an email template recently and it failing to send because gmail outbound does CORS checking at send time

Washing up liquid is what I go for, it’s gentle enough to not damage the latex but it’s specifically designed to remove grease so gets through the sweat infused silicone no problem.

Contrary to what others may tell you, bunging it in the washing machine with a small amount of detergent is usually the best way to go (just don’t use too much else you’ll have bubbles everywhere)

That is certainly a poor response, but equally I can see their point given their geolocation. Doesn’t excuse shittiness, b it does at least explain it

I did consider setting up my own AcitivtyPub service under smut.cloud, but I A) don’t have the time, and B) can’t be arsed with the #OnlineSafetyAct side of things. Going for nostr, whilst different, will prevent any of that nonsense from bothering me

Migrating to nostr from Mastodon as my former instance kinky.business is shutting down at the end of the month. Very much still getting the hang of this but figured I’d make a start and learn as I go given the time constraints
