For the ones wondering how they can DELETE their Twitter account and not just DEACTIVATE: You need to deactivate and WAIT FOR 30 DAYS. Twitter says it will delete the account after that period. But be aware; Any access to the account in this time will reactivate it and you will have to start over.
Nothing new here - except for many American voters who do not seem to get the problems coming up with their next president.
