Trump is doing so much damage - it is hard to track. Here is a page on CNN that tries to keep up:

Tracking Trump’s executive actions

So a cleric who asks for empathy for the weak is called a “radical left hard line Trump hater” who is “not very good at her job” by Trump. How often does he need to verify that he is a dimwit and a total numbnut?

According to a poll from REUTERS ...

42% of US citizens think it is OK to pardon people were violently trying to overthrow the government?

Crazy.,

For the ones wondering how they can DELETE their Twitter account and not just DEACTIVATE: You need to deactivate and WAIT FOR 30 DAYS. Twitter says it will delete the account after that period. But be aware; Any access to the account in this time will reactivate it and you will have to start over.

Nothing new here - except for many American voters who do not seem to get the problems coming up with their next president.

Elon Musk wants to push his nonsens into our public sphere. We can ignore that. But I think he is not sharing democratic values anymore so does his platform X.com. So here is a petition to expell x.com from EU - a symbolic but necessary act.

So Zuckerberg wants to systematically NOT fact check the facts? EU should make this a requirement for centralized platforms like FB and IG.

So interestingly Google just ripped off the Apple Vision Pro and VisionOS … with little (or no) own ideas.

Maybe they innovate on the pricing instead of repeating Apples mistake.

This guy tested Apple Vision Pro for a month as a replacement for desktop monitors. This interpretation of "spatial computing" did not work out for him.

The German liberals drafted scenarios in advance for the breakup of the coalition - leading to a "open field battle" (quote). So it appears the liberal party (FDP) planned and executed the breakup. This is shameful.

Interesting. The first M1 MacBook Air ist now on sale at Walmart for $599. This is a very good price for a decent computer that does most things for most people.

Santiago Boys podcast is live.

THE SANTIAGO BOYS

A wild tale of how Allende's engineers and a British management consultant dared challenge corporations and spy agencies - and almost won.

This is a nine-part exploration of the unlikely effort of Salvador Allende’s youthful technocrats and engineers (the Santiago Boys) to build their own socialist Internet. They do so by recruiting a prominent British tech guru, Stafford Beer, to help them.
