Money is something we get in exchange for products or services. That's what I want to teach my kids. Instead of giving them an allowance and want to create a bounty listing where they can pick what they are interested in doing in exchange for the money. As they complete the task and I approve the output, the county gets paid.
This can be a bitcoin wallet by the way.
