The briquettes may also be used to heat industrial boilers in order to produce electricity from steam in large-scale production. The biomass briquettes will be produced from agricultural wastes and will be a replacement of fossil fuels such as oil or coal. The company will ensure that access to heat energy is easily affordable for the average Malawian.
