Today’s challenge was to hitchhike back to Cologne from Frankfurt. I was successful, thanks to Ida, who was even willing to take a detour to get me on the A3 and Daniel who was going to Cologne Central Station because of his coming visit at the Gamescom, one of the biggest Gaming Fairs.
Traveling like this isn’t only more sustainable, it’s highly social and I recommend doing this! 🧡⚡️
Genius Idea!
Let’s do it next year! 01-21.08 Protestival at ECB!
Happy #Bitcoin-Infinity-Day!
This is day 21/21 in front of the ECB! I’ve protested since Bitcoin Independence Day and 21:21 today marks the end of my sit in.
This will however not be the end of my protest in general. I will continue protesting on #SaturdaysForSatoshi. Hopefully next year I’ll be less lonely and we’ll draw a crowd for 21 days. So Christine if you read this: "I’ll be back!"
Day 20/21 in front of the ECB.
On this day, 5 years ago, a brave young girl decided to strike school and instead protest in front of her local government building to demand climate action. Her actions inspired millions of teenagers to follow suit and demand their governments to adhere to the Paris treaty.
5 years later we break new negative records in emissions, arctic sea ice, global temperature etc.
People are so desperate to demand change, they are willing to go to prison, while others linger in complacency and denial.
Truth is, we all have to change and the most powerful leverage for the individual lies with the form of money they use.
#Bitcoin is that leaver empowering individuals to take self custody of their funds and take it of the hands of government.
Truth is, the problems we face are to complex to solve for a few politicians planning the flow of money and therefore the economy.
That’s why we need to #BurnTrustnotCoal #BTnC
It’s Day 19/21 in front of the ECB. Today is #SaturdayForSatoshi and I’m doing my #21Blocks to honor #Bitcoin. I’m giving everyone a glimpse at my plan ₿ that is interested. Pointing out alternatives to traditional ways of thinking either sparks genuine interest in others or utter disbelief.
Some conversations I had include:
Joshua:
•He was part of the occupy Frankfurt movement, volunteered for cooking in the camp after his work. Great guy with a big heart. 🧡
4 leftists:
• Enlightening Conversations about how Anarchocapitalism and Anarchosyndikalism don’t necessarily cancel each other out. Big concerns about distribution and private army’s.
2 Plebs:
These cool guys joined me and brought some extra signs. Awesome support! Very grateful! 🧡
It’s #SaturdayForSatoshi everyone!🧡
Hope you’re all drawing your signs to honor his invention for up to 21 Blocks in front of your closest bank today! 🪧⚡️
Join the #SaturdaysForSatoshi Movement!
It’s Day 18/21 in front of the ECB. Today the sun is burning. I’m out here looking for people to join the cause. No one really interested so far. Maybe I should interview someone fisherman. Orange pilling seems a bit similar to fishing, you gotta be patient all day than once you got someone hooked you gotta be careful to not draw them in too quickly otherwise they’ll tear loose and get wrecked in fiat land. Anyways, if you wanna help the cause repost this and make me happy by joining #SaturdaysForSatoshi tomorrow!
Day 17/21 in front of the ECB. Best thing we can do to fight overconsumption is to adopt #Bitcoin. It’s deflationary principle is not just #economics — it’s a #philosophy.
Few climate activists understand this
#803498 Gratitude Journal of the Day:
•I’m grateful for Manu teaching me Aristotle: Ethos, Pathos and Logos are now actually words that I can work with instead of saying I’ve heard them.
•I’m grateful for Simon^2, Samuel and Max keeping me good company during the day and stocking up my cookies supply’s. I really appreciated your presence 🧡
•I’m grateful for having a roof over my head. After a day of sunshine and good company with my fellow plebs, I was pushed out of my comfort zone in the last 30 min of the day. I was sitting through a thunderstorm and I’m grateful for having persevered through it.
Was it necessary to get soaked at the end? Probably not! Did it make a difference for anyone else’s than me? Probably not.
Could I have gone home earlier? Yes. Am I proud for pushing through? Yes.
Because it’s a deeply humbling experience, feeling the force of nature. When seconds feel like minutes and minutes feel like hours. It also shows me what I’m fighting against; the arrogance of man. In order to mitigate climate change we have to push ourselves outside our comfort zones while millions, maybe billions of people will fight for bare survival.
