Time for a recap of last week:
I was in Kassel, joining fellow climate activists in their struggle to create political tension around the absurd project of Kassel Calden Airport.
An airport that is heavily subsidised by taxpayer money to mainly facilitate private jet take offs and landings, within times of an escalating climate catastrophe.
The mayor of the city, a green party member, publicly stated that this project is economically and ecologically nonsensical.
It is an obvious and easy target to rally public opinion against and create tension between the virtues of the Green Party and the reality that is happening there.
Within days I was known as „The Bitcoin Guy“ within camp.
Although we have our strategic differences, I was generally accepted and respected by the community. Managing to setup a lightning wallet for donations to our cook, as well as doing my best to answer the barrage of questions.
On Friday I gave a workshop on "Monetary Civil Disobedience" in which I laid out the two paths of stopping fossil subsidies:
1. Gaining power within traditional institutions to redirect the flow of money.
2. Delegitimizing the monetary system fuelling these subsidies.
Overall I feel grateful for the time in Kassel making warm and meaningful connections, although I sometimes felt like a lonely stranger, walking fertile grounds, sowing seeds and dreaming of the days they may blossom. 
Living proof that #SaturdayForSatoshi is powerful. Imagine the power of this movement when it becomes more decentralized.
