In this current political system, I would not choose to "empower" women. I would chose to empower men, so they can support, sustain and protect the women while they hold sacred space for a different, sacred power- that of life, love, peace, beauty. I would have women fighting alongside men in extreme situations like wars, I would have women rulling kingdoms, but not put them in mud fights while others are selling tickets.
I heard recently a statement about how moon exploration was actually a victory of capitalism against communism. It is funny. First, this is not how the story went from a technology development point of view, but I will not linger on it since it is of little real interest besides for pumping grandiosity. Capitalism is the one focused on conflict, competition etc. Communism is focused on community and creating a balanced system where the whole is more important than the individual. These are just different stages of maturity. Cannot be compared or measured one against other. The specific individualism of the Nordic, Slavic, Germanic, overall Celtic cultures had multiple ramifications. One thing is certain. America, as a state in it's infancy, was adopted by African and Indian mothers while the men failed to protect their mothers trapped by pimps into prostitution. Systems of exploitation of body and sexuality with more obvious or subtle levels were created. No intellectual or financial delusional prowess can hide this truth. I've seen the life of women selling sex, video chat, erotic massage and even tantric arts and I can assure you the only empowerment in this is the fact that they carry the weight of it all. So think more about your women and less about your toys. Enduring and numbing feelings gets us all disconnected from life. There is infinite challenge in life if you live it right. The video game approach turns people into floating heads.
Lab experiments are a deviation from the will and love of Nature teaching us from it's wisdom. It is a dead end, it's not the cat that's in the box but our own reasoning. All our creation emerged from "investigating" truth, abusing life, ecosystems and physical fixed laws are just steps on a path of self destruction.
