If you are just getting started setting up a personal home server with a Raspberry Pi or some PC, one very useful thing to setup is SSH, so that you can control it remotely from your laptop or PC.

The new App Store version (1.7.2) should come expiry notifications, but if you were running an older version, maybe that version did not have support for those yet.
Would you happen to know which version of Damus you were running when it expired without notifications?

I used that once a while ago to generate subtitles for one specific video. So please let me know if you need any help!
Not exactly an “out-of-the-box” solution, but I know of a very good AI model that can help generate subtitles: https://github.com/m-bain/whisperX
You can use this with a little bit of Python scripting to generate subtitles. In my experience, this is the best performing model for the task
