I think it has to do with AAC encoding. Like I said if you reencode it as h264 it displays fine on the problem browsers.
I also changed the way calls to media were handled from the web server side so hopefully things will load a bit faster and take some load off of the Erlang VM. Ideally I'd like to move media to a whole different server altogether but I haven't found a way to do that reliably yet. Maybe I'll work on that today.

Just finished doing some security tweaks. I also believe I resolved the issue with the icons being weird on the old frontend so if you still use it let me know if you have any problems. Reminder that you will have to do a hard refresh for the latest updates on the old frontend. You can do this by clearing your cache (you’ll have to log back in) or toggling Brave Shields if you’re on brave, or pressing CTRL + F5 if you’re on a desktop.

It's not what browser you upload from, it's what browser you view it on.
Brave is a Chrome based browser. I think you should still use it but it won't solve the problem in this context.
