i think nostr kinda seems optimally designed for something like that if it can be done securely. naturally has redundant paths of communication to arrange a handshake.

only content is encrypted. metadata is not and is publicly available. its an issue. people are trying to work on solutions.
yep. but in one scenario you are giving it to them, in the other they have to go querying for it.
relays can track ip and requests they receive. as well being able to do whatever they want with the data they have (like fb and twitter).
yeah i think so. in astral it does.
not talking about relays, talking about humans. in astral you can see which relays have seen each note and you can publish/forward it on to your other relays if you think it needs more visibility.
more we rely on relay infra the less censorship resistant nostr is imo

im itching to try out pow on astral. at the very least should help with low level spam. but it def has its flaws.
in astral type @ and menu of users will pop up to select from. in damus I believe its @ and then paste the users pubkey but not totally sure.
