I agree! Love the earthly pigments. And we should try all techniques. Just some are more efficient than others. Today, flipping bits is the fasted and most efficient. And long lasting if you use it right.

Painters had to master the techniques of creating their own pigments and to use the right medium to make it last for as long as possible. Oils dominated the renascence. What dominates the present are the bits of data. That’s the best we have if flipped in the right places.
