Der Unternehmer und ehemalige Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan ging im MĂ€rz dieses Jahres eine riskante Wette auf Twitter ein: Der US-Dollar wĂŒrde innerhalb der nĂ€chsten 90 Tage in eine Hyperinflation geraten. Dabei lag der Wetteinsatz nicht etwa bei etwas Kleingeld, sondern einer stolzen Million US-Dollar, wobei man argumentieren könnte, dass diese fĂŒr den MilliardĂ€r fast schon als Kleingeld durchgeht. Gestern löste er die Wette vorzeitig ein und hielt sein Versprechen.

, which I absolutely agree with. It is extensive, but absolutely worth reading. To criticise is not a crime, but an enrichment. I share similar concerns as Luis: how can a monetary system work if those involved do not care about the circulation of money?
I actually believe Luis speaks directly from the mind of the many silent Bitcoiners.
In a nutshell: âIf we want Bitcoin to be a reality 10, 20 or 40 years from now, we need to be a hell of a lot more critical today. Critical of the developers and the companies that build products. Critical of the influencers who go from conference to conference. And much more critical and realistic with ourselves.â

These people show the same behaviour in their home countries. They litter everything and everywhere, no matter where they are. When I see all the plastic and cigarette butts that people throw away, it makes me dizzy. They sincerely believe that all the rubbish will disappear by itself, but they are too stupid to realise that plastic breaks down into micro-particles that end up in our drinking water and food and thus in our bodies.
