Any civilized society should have, as fundamental principle, a rule that the offspring of the rulers cannot be exempt from military service. To its credit, the UK monarchy does encourage this (although William was given a relatively 'safe' search & rescue role).

So, apparently SIVB's Chief Administrative Officer was a guy named Joseph Gentile. Heard that name before? He was the former CFO of Lehman Brothers, just before they went bankrupt! And before that? He worked at Arthur Andersen, the accountancy firm which collapsed in 2002 after their dodgy accounting of Enron was revealed!
Being associated with one major banking collapse is bad enough. But *three* top-tier collapses? What a CV!
Yeah - although that can at least claim to be beyond the memory of currently-living people. The 2008 crash was not even 15 years ago! I get that a current 20-year old would have no memory, but I'd have thought that their family, teachers, etc might have told them a bit about the fragility of fiat, debt contagion, etc.!
Ser, if you have your seed phrase backed up, it doesn't matter: you can restore everything with that. Inscribe it on a metal plate and hide it under the floorboards / in the garden or whatever - then you're always secure.
