After disengaging from nostr for several months, I returned to find the ecosystem has grown remarkably richer. The open-source protocol redistributes profits that would have belonged to monopolistic companies back to everyone in the ecosystem, enabling all talented individuals to contribute. Although most contributions from the community might be small and gradual, it works like a "democratic ratchet" - once consensus is reached, it's difficult to regress in the wrong direction.
I recently read Chris Dixon's "Read Write Own". One interesting detail mentioned in the book is that early Twitter could be used as an RSS client, which brought great convenience to users (this was before Twitter became more closed off).
I wonder what it would be like to read RSS feeds within Nostr? Feel like a cool idea.
Thanks! Really appreciate it!
Hi there! I'm exploring Nostr as a platform to share my thoughts while maintaining peace of mind. While Twitter has its merits, issues like spam accounts and excessive adult content can be problematic. I'm hopeful that the Nostr protocol will provide a better experience.
I currently work for Coinbase, but my posts here reflect my personal views and not those of my employer.
