Same here. Amethyst is still crashing regularly (20+ relays), freezing sometimes, but it's clearly faster and more stable than before π
Tempting. Did you upload your private key to their website, or does it stay locally in an extension of your *mobile* browser?
Amethyst 0.12.0 still hanging a lot, for example when checking my followers.
Will probably stay with 0.11.6 for now.

#Amethyst by #[0] is currently the best Android client IMHO. Improving fast!
Recommended if you prefer keeping your private key local. Websites can leak it, and browser extensions are dangerous.
I dont like downgrading but sometimes you should, and Nostr makes it easy!

Nostr makes it very easy and fast to downgrade.

Tried v0.11.6 for 10 minutes.
Noticeable improvement! The app isn't reloading every profile like it's the first time it sees them. π
Adding cache should help (with maybe an customizable expiration date π€)
Or maybe there's cache already, and it's simply not working for me.
Always latest version (0.11.4 now)
Having to load user's info (including my profile) every 10 seconds makes things slower, yes :'/
Sometimes it doesn't load at all.
Adding many relays seems to help a little bit. But probably not a good idea when not using Wifi.

Profile names & pictures have to be fetched all the time.

- destroys mobile data quotas
