Trying to help build a better future for my kids and all humans on earth. Just breathe, we have Bitcoin. Things WILL get better.

Btw I loved the 1 hour hard stop! Being that I listen on 2.0 speed I only had to wear my AirPods for 1/2 an hour this morning. Namaste 🙏

The Paypal founder were trying to create something very much like bitcoin when they first started the company. They pivoted away from that, but that was what they believed in. Now that they have been instrumental in getting Trump to power and are actively participating the government, it seems that we are rebasing the dollar onto a Bitcoin standard.

"The PayPal Wars" by Eric Jackson provides interesting insights into PayPal's early objectives and evolution. According to the book, PayPal didn't start with the mission we associate with it today.

The company began as Confinity, founded by Max Levchin, Peter Thiel, and Luke Nosek in 1998. Their initial product wasn't a payment service but rather software for secure transactions between Palm Pilot devices. Their early vision focused on creating encrypted software that would allow mobile devices to become "digital wallets."

The pivotal shift came when they discovered that users were most interested in the email payment feature they had developed. The company quickly pivoted to focus on this capability, recognizing its massive potential. Their objective transformed into becoming the "new world currency" - they aimed to create a global currency system that could replace traditional banking and potentially even national currencies.

Peter Thiel often described their mission as creating "the WeaponizationOfMoney.com" - a financial system that would give individuals sovereignty over their money and protect it from government control and inflation. This libertarian vision guided many of their early decisions.

402 baby! We are so close.

The HTTP 402 "Payment Required" code was basically not used until bitcoin was a thing. It's exciting to be using it... just a nerd thing :)

The result of practicing meditation is realization and experience. Meditation experiences are temporary and come rather quickly. Realization, however, is attained through the gradual process of meditation and is lasting. One has to work on attaining realization, and one should have no attachment to the experience of meditation whether good or bad.
