Return visit to the hotel - I thought after breakfast it would be worth seeing if anything had changed in the last two days in an empty hotel, so I ordered a coffee. Nothing has changed, the hotel is still empty 😂. Everyone said hello to the "regular customer" in me 😂😉. The owner recognized me and we started talking about bitcoin and things that were going on in El Salvador.
Over 3 hours of discussion - The owner lives in the USA, he built a hotel in El Salvador because he comes from this country. He was using bitcoin to avoid fees for sending money back home to build a hotel, reportedly they wanted 10% from him for this service. In general, he talked about why things are not so rosy in the US anymore (he has a rather controversial opinion on this subject). I explained to him how to safely store bitcoins, how to convert from LN to OnChain. Differences between hot wollet and cold wollet, etc. We talked about bitcoin education. We covered many topics. It got to the point that he offered me a local dish that is not on the menu, very good. He invited me to a party, but I won't be in El Salvador at that time.
Sightseeing - At the end of the day I took a few kilometers walk to explore the area, my time here was coming to an end.
Journey to El Zonte - 8 Day
Fresh Oysters - Never tried oysters and had to try it. I know they are fresh and many local people visit this place on the river. They don't accept bitcoin.
Playa El Zonte - This is the beach in a nutshell. You can meet mainly surfers.
Security - Security is common in El Salvador. I talked to a local person about it and found out that since the president's reforms they are not needed, but people are used to renting them because they are cheap. You can see them everywhere.
Dessert - Already at the entrance you can see what currency you pay here 😂. I ordered something sweet for dessert after oysters. To be sure, I asked if I could pay in satoshi, this is the first time someone was surprised that I asked that 💪😂. I paid 44632 satoshi for dessert.
Support project - Walking around El Zonte I came across (quite by chance) an office promoting and educating about bitcoin. They have some pretty cool graffiti on the wall. There was a QR code (LN) for support but I don't have a picture of that code.
Building plot - He can also buy a plot, of course there is a payment in bitcoin.
Fresh - Among other things, that's how I know that they sell fresh seafood. It's worth taking advantage of it and trying different dishes.
Storm - At the end of the day it was raining quite heavily, then there was no electricity and internet for several hours. But I have to admit it was raining pretty hard.

Unusual breakfast - I had breakfast at a local restaurant next to El Zonte. Fresh and nutritious, served in a stream. I paid in fiat.
Beach - Went to the beaches and ordered coffee with milk. I paid in satoshi (6858 sats) to the person who worked in the back room 💪😂.
Restaurant - I noticed a new hotel with a restaurant, they had no guests and quite stood out from the other buildings. Curious about the symbol on the gate (₿)... I went inside and ordered langoustines. I wanted to see how it tastes. Where I live, seafood is often expensive and stale, so I chose the area around El Zonte. I was the only customer in the restaurant. Suddenly people started coming up to me and started asking who I am, how I got here, etc. Even the owner himself came up to me and talked to me... It turned out that this hotel with a restaurant was opened a few days ago and I was one of the first customers 😂. I ate crawfish (it was good but salmon is better 🤫) and paid in satoshi (109051 sats). By the way, I explained to the owner how to handle customers who want to pay in bitcoin (I told them to use LN for customers).
This is not the end of the story with the empty hotel...
Journey to El Zonte - 6 Day
Leaving the capital - In the morning I took the 102 A bus to reach El Zonte (1.5 USD).
El Zonte - I see the bitcoin logo everywhere.
Standar - Of course, I ordered coffee right after the trip, I didn't even have to ask if I could pay in satoshi...
Food - It would be good to eat something, next to the restaurant there was a house for rent.
Hostel - After paying for the stay in the Hostel (of course in satoshi) the day ended.
Museum - National Museum of Anthropology. Once colonial coins, today bitcoin. I asked at the exit and you can pay in satoshi 😅.
Renovation - Downtown of San Salvador, Renovated plaza, national palace and all streets adjacent to the plaza in progress. The staff said that I can't pay in satoshi (I forgot to ask at the counter).

Doubt - I bought a cake and coffee, I didn't ask if they accept satoshi, only at the beginning I managed to pay in satoshi.
McTrash - While drinking coffee, I remembered the McTrash video and someone showed that you can pay in satoshi there. I went to check and it's actually possible to pay in satoshi.
Converter - I bought a coffee for the test (it's the only thing I could buy there...) and the exchange rate was better than if I had to pay in fiat. There is hope 😂
ATM Chivo - I noticed that there are a lot of Chivo ATMs in the city, from what I've seen they support bitcoin (I haven't tested).
I got hungry - After my success at McTrash I got hungry and went to the nearest normal restaurant and ordered some tacos. Again I could pay easily in satoshi... 💪
A walk at night - At the end of the day I found out that there is a festival in the city center. Someone was walking towards me, I relented and kept walking. I've come to the conclusion that if you're not looking for problems, you won't find them here. Night 🌃
Journey to El Zonte - 3 Day
Security - I left my apartment and I see police interrogating a motorcyclist. The landlord said it's safe to walk around the city at night.
Volcano - Walking (9km and 930 kcal) visit to the volcano (2 USD ticket). I keep forgetting to ask if I can pay in satoshi 😅.
Restaurant - You can see that the restaurant is popular, I couldn't pay in satoshi
