Nostr generally has poor discovery. I don't have many moments on here where I find new people to follow that I don't already know from other platforms.

Thankfully, being decentralized, the client that comes up with more effective algos will have an advantage and will get copied. I just wish there were more interesting data-driven attempts at discovery being tried.

turns out bitcoiners are super sensitive and reactive

They shut down their custodial Lightning wallet service a year ago and a lot of people never got their sats back because they didn’t even know it was happening.
