Inscriptions are very real. Permanently recorded data stored on everyone’s nodes. Although the data is not readable, run able, or verifiable by the protocol. So they are akin to benign tumors on the timechain.
Ordinals are a larp! As you stated, a sat cannot be tracked or sequenced. The game that ordinal fans are playing is just that, a game.
Anyone who thinks an ordinal bestows verification, ownership, or transferability onto an inscription is utterly delusional. …or a scammer!
