I don’t know who needs to hear this, but "fiat is the preferred currency of criminals" means Bitcoin is not winning

I want to give a quick overview about the #startOS , which is a software server product of #start9. I run a server with startOS for over one year now. Its very useful for me because i can run it on

any x86_64 hardware! Other server projects in the space are mostly run on raspberry Pi's, which is a small PC with low computing power. If you only run bitcoind and a lightning implementation its

maybe ok with just a raspberry Pi. But if you want to use more server applications a custom hardware build is very useful and you dont got the bottelneck with computing power.

#starOS is a linux based server software with the focus on one-click installations! So its very good for people with little or medium linux experience! If you are a linux nerd there

are other options for you to run a server but this is not the target customer IMO.

The vision of start9 is to give accsses to server applications to more people! The aim is a user friendly experience of software for Sovereign Computing. They also offer a marketplace for software and you can develop your own software and share it over a independent marketplace!

The startOS software is for free! But the start9 company sells server hardware with special builds, where the "black boxes" near the intel cpu's were removed! (didnt even know that there are such things :-)

The support for the customers is very responsive and if you ask a question in the public channels like telegram you often get an answere whithin 10-20min and they got paid people who help you with any problem you got!

You can run your server completely headless. (maybe first install you need a screen) Is it always a good advice that you setup a ssh login after the installation of the server! If the server gets into "diagnostic mode" during reboot you can always ssh into the server and solve your problems with the help of the amazing start9 team.
