I’m an apprentice barber and as part of my training, I need to find models weekly. Prior to my apprenticeship, I used nil social media platforms (before nostr). My apprentice colleagues had been successful in finding models thru Instagram as well as using it as a platform for client communication rather than advertising your personal number. I’ve had some luck with finding clients by approaching random people in person and giving out business cards that link them to a bio site as well as an Instagram account I created for advertising/organising/booking appointments. However, my distaste for using this platform still burns.
What do you think? Suggestion for any alternatives?
