It's really crazy...I have some things (hardware and such) that's in the garage that were purchased a while back that still have prices on them--really amazing every time I see one of those stickers...

Can't gaslight an old price tag...

Does it really matter if "core inflation" is going down if you can't afford to pay for food and gas?

Government can just print more to meet their own bills...but none of us have a money printer!

It is (at times) a necessary evil...have one laptop for those instances...everything else is Linux.

How is engineering boring?

(I remember a few years back we took a long trip on a plane--I brough along a technical manual on Snort to read--my wife thought I was nuts)

Men and women are (indeed) different - not sure if its genetic, or environmental (IMHO probably a combination) but we are not 100% interchangeable.

But we are 100% complimentary (certainly better as a team - there are things that my wife can do where I simply shake my head and say "how do you know how to do that?" - and vice versa). Better together.

All true, yet you should ALWAYS have the ability in your heart to forgive...we've all screwed up at some point in time (and we'd like forgiveness).

Don't hold that grudge--it hurts you more in the long run. Find the peace in your heart to forgive...(and maybe help others in the long run)

I'm not confident that scientists can at a minimum measure the temperature and determine if it's getting hotter on average...without intentionally introducting their own bias into their analysis.

Hotter or coler is a realative assessment (i.e. hotter or colder than what?)

The timeframe and comparative scope that is chosen can alter the final result...

Are we "hotter than" the last ice age? (I'd argue yes)

Are we "hotter than" yesterday? (For where I live, the answer is no)

So compared to the last ice age we have global warming...

Compared to yesterday we have global cooling...

Statistics are relative--and it's quite simple to manipulate any statistical result to suit your own purposes and sway opinions....

At that time, that was the only solution the medical community and pharamaceutical industry was willing to provide...
