nah unfortunately, I asked someone that had the one I wanted and he said he was able to choose it since he was on eof the first testers of the app.

I think if I get one of these from anywhere in the future I'm just gonna email the 4th back and let them cutoff my account. I'll find another service that wants my business.

I remember when you could buy versions of Photoshop for like $700, and pirating said versions because I was a broke kid at the time. πŸ˜‚

Nice

My got stuck syncing at 33%, when I restarted I got a container error lol. Might buy new hardware cause I've reused that stuff to try out a couple nodes and always have issues now.

California's decision to decriminalize shoplifting under $1,000 means stores have to enforce their own security. People will get upset with the store, but not understand it's because the authorities aren't doing their jobs.

I can't remember where I saw the article, but it talked about the dynamic of shopliftings effect on low-income areas. What they found is stores had to raise prices to recoup losses from theft, which has a negative feedback loop. Which is why stores in high-income areas will sometimes have better prices on goods.

A clear example of how more money cannot heal you. There's no magic pill to buy that'll fix your health.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go touch grass.

I think luxury goods and collectibles are a good indicator of what's to come. In a pinch, people are gonna sell off non-necessities first to pay bills. Of course these were also already way overvalued from 2021 craziness.

I can't believe people pay >$250,000 for a watch πŸ˜‚

Unfortunately, I do believe this will be the case. Some of the people in my family believe the solution to bad government is to give the government more power...

It's important to build and support tools that cannot comply with draconian regulation.

Lmao, I didn't have anything like Android Auto or a car dashboard before, but I'm avoiding them now. πŸ˜‚
