I can’t recall exactly when I first got on Nostr, but it was a couple of years ago. Back then, it felt like zapping around in an empty stream—like a little Bitcoin Twitter, with some zaps during Zapathon Fridays and a few glimpses of Jack and devs. Eventually, I gave up due to the quietness and retreated to X to watch the chaos of clownworld.
But while listening to the Fountain app one day, I stumbled across my old Nostr profile. Later, I rejoined through Primal, which had an incredible user experience. To my surprise, Nostr had transformed—there were so many users, vibrant news streams, and a whole new energy. It feels like a new dawn of social. Glad to be back!
