Day 184-185: Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Great place to visit - beautiful beaches, scenery, shops, and restaurants - great scuba diving, too! #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 181: Dakar, Senegal. Game Drive in Bandia Reserve. As cool as being amongst the wild life is, can’t get over the manufactured, zoo like feeling these African ‘safaris’ leave me with. #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 178: Takoradi, Ghana. Not a lot of time to venture far so just cruised the Main Street in town. Been there / done that / don’t ever have to go back. #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 175/274: Luanda, Angola. Toured a lunar landscape, slave museum, local market, mausoleum, iron palace, and the Fortress of Sao Miguel. Quasi-communist country rich in oil and beautiful beaches but plenty of poor/sketchy areas to avoid. #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 172: Walvis Bay, Namibia - Captain wussed out again yesterday preventing us from tendering in Luderitz so this is our only stop in Namibia - drove out to the desert to see the sights. #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 168-169: Cape Town, South Africa. From the top of Table Mountain, to the beautiful Constantia Wine country, to the entire Waterfront this town has it going on! #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 167: Mossel Bay, SA. Beautiful harbor town along the renowned Garden Route. #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 166: Port Elizabeth (Gqdberha), South Africa. Amakhala Game Reserve - Lions, Elephants, Zebra, Gazelle, Rhinos, Giraffes, Mongoose, Impala, Jackals, Monkeys - this place has everything! #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 162: Reunion Island, France - tiny island in the South Indian Ocean off the coast of Madagascar with enormous natural beauty - an absolute must see! Cirque de Salazie, Brides Falls, Cascade Blanc are beautiful beyond description, plus a Vanilla plantation... #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 162: Port Louis, Mauritius - what a great country! Volcanic craters, DoDo birds, Sacred Lakes, Tea Plantations, and deer (easy pickings), too much to see in 1 day - will be back! #UltimateWorldCruise

Day 156: Mahe (Victoria), Seychelles - the stench at the port is serious - burning trash and dead fish stank - stay outside town on the coast - beaches are beautiful. Lots of shops, restaurants, and secluded resorts- great dive spot, too! #UltimateWorldCruise
