Desktop usage, don't mind good privacy/security features. Tried parrot os live install but sound is not working. I'm sure u can make it work if you find right solution. Parrot is hardened distro with some privacy tools preinstalled, runs debian.

Oneplus nord n10 and n100 have ubuntu touch ported, both of them are budget phones which can be bought cheaply used. Very cool that u got cheap phones which can run linux operating system.

Is linux not secure? The main takeaway here is that packet managers can have malicous apps uploaded there since some of them are not regulated. Also on mint every app can see what other apps are doing which is not ideal for privacy/security. This is why I tried parrot os, too bad WIFI and sound do not work by default which is frustrating, im sure that you could fix it after looking at multiple guides online. I wonder if you could just harden the distro which you are currently using by installing some software.

I think the "move abroad if u don't like it" is for the most part a joke take, sure if you got realistic chance to do it then you should consider moving abroad. But realistically it's just silly to say anyone can move abroad anywhere easily. For eg. some jobs require language skills which I don't have. Moving abroad requires planning, you need a job first unless you are rich and don't mind paying rent and being unemployed in foreign nation without any language skills or anything to get employed there. You should only use this card when you know someone can easily execute it. There is not a single country in europe which needs someone without profession, most european countries want highly specialized professionals, skilled trades can be valuable too. But seriously stop saying JuSt MovE aBroad, unless you wanna pay my rent and can provide job somewhere else so I don't starve to death.
