The US Air Force, after WWII and the development of the Atomic Bomb, argued largely successfully that the nuclear air fleet should become the centerpiece of US military strategy. A lot of people fell for this. But with Korea, this idea was discarded for the fantasy that it was.

When @Narodism (https://nitter.moomoo.me/Narodism) returned from Syria he was arrested off the plan, passport taken, and ended up in limbo for months wearing an ankle bracelet in London. Eventually he got clear of it. he spoke on his experience in Rojava and worked on building a team to continue forward.
