You basically have a key management system running in your browser and this is called for signing stuff without you adding your nsec into websites
Yes, especially for the discovery stuff. On desktop or Firefox mobile you can use Alby browser extension, on Android you can use amber. There's also support for Nostrlogin and classical login via key.
