Varada Sethu’s new Companion is superb. I’ve always been a bit annoyed at the Companion’s tendency to magic roundabout whenever the Doctor gets technical, and Belinda absolutely does not. Sure, the Companion is an audience cipher, but the audience aren’t stupid!

New BLACK MIRROR: entertaining enough watch, but didn't feel as cutting as has been (and could be). Lacked bleakness to a pretty massive degree. Not their finest season.
Published a quick gem re my horrible idea about looking for .env files on GitHub. It searches and looks for values with high entropy.

"I'm halfway through" film review: MICKEY 17 is pretty good. Echoes of MOON, but seems different enough to stand on its own, and explores the politics of human printing much more than MOON got to. Worth a watch. Joon-Ho is an amazing filmmaker and his name should be enough, really.
