Something to think about:
Many, if not most university employees fear open access/open source, and work to gatekeep information and systems from its users.
The incentive, as always, lies in the money.
Public libraries aren’t really libraries anymore
They are, like everything else in fiat, becoming heavily corrupted by skewed incentive structures and propaganda
