I took a brief poke around Windows 11 Pro last night before tonight’s planned hard drive wipe and Ubuntu 24.04.1 install.

What a trash fiat OS. No access without a Microsoft account, default privacy settings set for maximum tracking, browsers and home screens plastered with fiat news and social media bait, and endless attempts at selling the user various subscriptions for services and utilities.

If I was a dev at MS I’d jump off the roof headfirst.

The crazy thing is that I bet the average user will just accept this crap.
