Handshake it currently the best solution for true ownership of your online identity. Not only is it backwards compatible with traditional domains, it's extensible enough that you can use it cross-chain, such as hns.id using the Optimism L2 blockchain for minting, enabling low gas fees.

Handshake TLDs will be the pinnacle of naming and realized by legacy stalwarts far too late.
