Quite a fascinating topic of Irish history. Hedge schools are one of the many reasons the Irish language even survived past the penal laws period of Irish history. That, and some very dedicated people. Once the language is forced out/ lost the occupying "colonizing" power has pretty much won. A country which loses its language is a country with a great loss of its culture.

Yes I love languages and the different connections you can see between languages. Irish gaeilge is definitely a hard language I've only been learning it for about 3 years now.

Totally would but we're renting right now, so we can't add any additional structures other then the chicken coop we already have. We have raise beds but those will be able to move when the time comes.
