Whats clear to the broad consensus of the investors is almost always wrong !

Its not the real value of the company that drives the price, but its the most popular stories people believe about those companies. Sometimes stories are based on facts, sometimes it’s all hype !

GPT like AI model learns from astronomical amounts of language input -- much more than children receive when learning how to understand and speak a language. The best AI systems trains on text with a word count in the trillions, whereas children receive just millions per year.

Due to this enormous data gap, researchers have been skeptical that recent AI advances can tell us much about human learning and development.

A team of New York University researchers trained a multimodal AI system through the eyes and ears of a single child, using headcam video recordings from when the child was six months and through their second birthday. Their findings showed that the model, or neural network, could, in fact, learn a substantial number of words and concepts using limited slices of what the child experienced.

The video only captured about 1% of the child's waking hours, but that was sufficient for genuine language learning.

Hofstadter's Law:

Projects always take longer and cost more than you expect. Double the time, triple the cost—despite your best calculations.

Beat Hofstadter's Law with an insanely ambitious deadline. Even if it takes 3x longer, you're still ahead of the game.

you can not create value if you are not interacting with people . More you interact with people, more you understand the problem and come up with solutions.

Money doesn’t buy you happiness but money is important for impact and influence. So it is very important that things we build are capable to generate enough money to create an impact.

Physicists at Leipzig University have now created a type of neural network that works not with electricity but with so-called active colloidal particles.

For their experiments, the physicists developed tiny units made of plastic and gold nanoparticles, in which one particle rotates around another, driven by a laser.

These units have certain physical properties that make them interesting for reservoir computing.

Artificial intelligence can analyze registry data on people's residence, education, income, health and working conditions and, with high accuracy, predict life events, A research project from DTU, University of Copenhagen, ITU, and Northeastern University in the US shows..

"We used the model to address the fundamental question: to what extent can we predict events in your future based on conditions and events in your past? Scientifically, what is exciting for us is not so much the prediction itself, but the aspects of data that enable the model to provide such precise answers," says Sune Lehmann, professor at DTU and first author of the article.

Just like humans don’t like to age, companies don’t like to get old . Throughout the company life cycle focus should be shifted. More values destroyed around the world by company don’t act their age.

What sets prices ?

- Demand and supply.. Mood and momentum .

What sets value ?

- Cash flow, Growth and Risk.

"untraining" a Large Language Model on specific content.

The New York Times doesn't want its content in #ChatGPT. #OpenAI would have to retrain its models from scratch. Removing any content from their models would cost them millions of dollars. Paper from #Microsoft Research that tries to fix this. They don't actually delete knowledge from the model. They overwrite it.

Most scary and interesting part in field of AI is all great minds of the field repeating same thing that “WE DONT KNOW EXACTLY HOW IT WORKS” 🫤

We developed learning algorithms, but when these learning algorithms interacts with data it produces complicated neural networks which are good at doing things but we don’t know exactly how they do those things .
