I am going to share the description of the Temperance card I pulled because I think the card is pretty, and we are all talking about water lately.

Draw in your extremities, literally and metaphorically, to rediscover your center.

You rest on the beach, gazing out at the sea. Your field of vision is divided equally into sand, sea, and sky, each in perfect balance with the others. A glass of water sits beside you, half full or half empty depending on your point of view. You breathe in the salt air, filling your lungs, holding your breath, and letting it out in equal counts.

Guidance: Slow down for a moment. See how still you can become. Notice where your energy is fighting to go, what tasks, relationships, or obligations it wants to feed. See if you can begin to redirect this energy inward, toward your center. Invite it to soothe and heal your being. Only after practicing this inward focus for some time can you reassess where your energy is best spent externally.

Everything in moderation. This is not about abstinence, it is about cultivating awareness of where you spend your energy and how that energy is returned to you, then making adjustments to keep your spiritual ecosystem healthy.

Challenge: This is a subtle but powerful vibration. Managing energetic flow is a skill largely forgotten in modern times, though it is badly needed. Getting tuned in cantake some practice. Begin by managing the energy of your body (limiting screen, commitments, etc) before going deeper.

Apothecary: Sweet violet brings peace, balance, and emotional healing. The fresh or dried flowers are commonly used as edible decoration in baking. Essential oil and tinctures for internal and topical use are widely available. Note: African violets are a different species and are not edible.

I bought a tarot deck at some point, I can't even remember when. Maybe one of the spiritual shops in Sedona or online....but today I found it (last night technically), and I put on a podcast while I was looking at this deck that I haven't looked at in over a year at least. I said let me pull a card for the host of the podcast. I shuffle. Look down and pull a card. Temperance. Then I open the cards book to see what the description says in this set. One sentence: "a glass of water sits besides you." After I read that, the host is drinking something and puts it down.

if there solo board game sections in big box stores like target, walmart, etc then parents would be like oh this is great, i don't have to play...lol i know you are out there, parents, the i-hate-board-games but still want my kids to have fun!

I feel like this is a great avenue to get kids off the computers for some time and also bring more structured play inside the house. Imagination is great but sometimes learning to focus on what is happening is a skill needed to learn.

I know if I was a parent I would buy the whole section: SOLO GAME BOARDS. Line their rooms like I would line my record player room.
