Did you know that the Coronado Bridge, located in San Diego, California, is an iconic concrete arch bridge that connects the city of San Diego with Coronado Island? Opened in 1969, it spans 3.4 km (2.1 miles) and rises 61 meters (200 feet) above San Diego Bay at its highest point, allowing large vessels to pass underneath.

Its curved, arched design was intended to extend the length of the bridge and avoid a steep incline, making it easier for vehicles to cross. This bridge is an important architectural symbol for the region and offers spectacular panoramic views of the bay, downtown San Diego, and the Pacific Ocean.

You can’t be in a relationship if you don’t like rules. Stay single and have your freedom to do as you want.

In a relationship you constantly communicate, share, account for your actions and apologize when you are wrong. Pride and Ego are biggest enemies of a healthy relationship. 💞

I have a theory that the moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself. I have tried this experiment a thousand times and I have never been disappointed. The more I look at a thing, the more I see in it, and the more I see in it, the more I want to see. It is like peeling an onion. There is always another layer, and another, and another. And each layer is more beautiful than the last.

This is the way I look at the world. I don't see it as a collection of objects, but as a vast and mysterious organism. I see the beauty in the smallest things, and I find wonder in the most ordinary events. I am always looking for the hidden meaning, the secret message. I am always trying to understand the mystery of life.

I know that I will never understand everything, but that doesn't stop me from trying.

I am content to live in the mystery, to be surrounded by the unknown. I am content to be a seeker, a pilgrim, a traveler on the road to nowhere. ~Henry Miller

When a population becomes distracted by trivia, when cultural life is redefined as a perpetual round of entertainments, when serious public conversation becomes a form of baby-talk, when, in short, a people become an audience, and their public business a vaudeville act, then a nation finds itself at risk; culture-death is a clear possibility. ~Neil Postman

35 YEARS after the release of Tracy Chapman's song 'Fast Car', tonight it won both single of the year and song of the year at the CMA Awards.

The story behind the song is an interesting one. Back in 1986, Chapman sat on the couch with her dog at her side and wrote the song, trying to capture the struggle of the everyday blue collar people she knew growing up in Cleveland, Ohio.

With each new lyric and turn of melody, the pup's ears perked up, telling Tracy she might be on to something.

She frequently played her music in a small coffee house near Tuft's University just outside of Boston.

One night, a student from Tufts was at the coffee house and heard Tracy Chapman play and was blown away by her talent. Keep in mind, she was not a star then, had no record deal, she was just another performer getting up before strangers and playing her songs.

That Tufts University student who heard her play was Brian Koppelman. Brian approached her after she left the stage and said, "I don't normally do this, but I think my father could help you."

Brian's father was Charles Koppelman, the co-owner of one of the largest music publishing houses in the world.

Two year's later, Tracy Chapman's debut album would be released and the song her puppy really seemed to love, was soon loved by everyone.

And tonight, 35 years after its release, 'Fast Car' is song & single of the year and reaching all new audiences.

“She sat at the back and they said she was shy,

She led from the front and they hated her pride,

They asked her advice and then questioned her guidance,

They branded her loud, then were shocked by her silence,

When she shared no ambition they said it was sad,

So she told them her dreams and they said she was mad,

They told her they'd listen, then covered their ears,

And gave her a hug while they laughed at her fears,

And she listened to all of it thinking she should,

Be the girl they told her to be best as she could,

But one day she asked what was best for herself,

Instead of trying to please everyone else,

So she walked to the forest and stood with the trees,

She heard the wind whisper and dance with the leaves,

She spoke to the willow, the elm and the pine,

And she told them what she'd been told time after time,

She told them she felt she was never enough,

She was either too little or far far too much,

Too loud or too quiet, too fierce or too weak,

Too wise or too foolish, too bold or too meek,

Then she found a small clearing surrounded by firs,

And she stopped...and she heard what the trees said to her,

And she sat there for hours not wanting to leave,

For the forest said nothing, it just let her breathe”

Clara Brown was a pioneer, a community leader, a philanthropist, and the first African American woman to live in Denver, Colorado. At the age of 56-years old, she became a real estate investor who established a successful laundromat chain during the Colorado Gold Rush in the 1800s.

She was born as a slave in Virginia in 1800, but in 1856 she obtained her freedom because her master died and his will stipulated her freedom. Her family had been split up and sold off one by one to different owners, so Clara decided to search for them - especially her 4 children. She headed west, moving from state to state while working as a cook and laundress.

After not being able to successfully find her family, Clara decided to settle in Colorado in a town outside of Denver called Central City. There, she opened a laundry business for gold miners. In addition, she collected whatever gold dust came out of the miners’ pockets and made extra money by cooking and cleaning for them as well.

Clara was known for her generosity in the community; She denied herself any luxuries, and chose instead to help fund non-profit causes such as the construction of a local church.

Over time, Clara expanded her laundry business to several locations, and invested her earnings into real estate and mines. When she died, she owned quite a bit throughout the state of Colorado - building lots in Denver, houses in Central City, and mines in Boulder, Georgetown and Idaho Springs.

When I am among the trees,

especially the willows and the honey locust,

equally the beech, the oaks and the pines,

they give off such hints of gladness.

I would almost say that they save me, and daily.

I am so distant from the hope of myself,

in which I have goodness, and discernment,

and never hurry through the world

but walk slowly, and bow often.

Around me the trees stir in their leaves

and call out, “Stay awhile.”

The light flows from their branches.

And they call again, “It’s simple,” they say,

“and you too have come

into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled

with light, and to shine.

#Archaeologist rewrite history with the discovery of a tomb of a previously unknown Queen. The pyramid of the undocumented ancient Egyptian queen, along with a cache of coffins, mummies, and artifacts and a series of interconnected tunnels was discovered in the ancient necropolis Saqqara in Giza, not far from King Tut's tomb. The queen's identity was previously a mystery, but archaeologists have identified her as "Neith". The extravagance of her resting place may indicate her importance. The discovery has left many Egyptologists stunned and amazed as the queen has never appeared on records. "It is amazing to literally rewrite what we know of history, adding a new queen to our records."

To "Little One" 🌱

You probably never imagined that the words you wrote back then would one day bring a smile to me now—haha! It’s adorable, really. They reflect such pure, innocent feelings, filled with unwavering belief in love, without any complications or second thoughts.

But you know what? I want to tell you that "Little One" did really well. What you felt and expressed back then is nothing to be ashamed of. It was a part of your growth—something worth remembering, a reminder of how far we’ve come, and a source of inspiration for those moments when life feels a bit more complicated.

If you hadn’t been brave enough to open your heart like that back then, I wouldn’t be who I am today. Every word you wrote was a reflection of your courage, sincerity, and a heart that believed in beauty.

So, thank you for being that little one who carried so much hope and love in your heart. And never forget—no matter how much you grow, don’t ever leave that part of yourself behind. It’s the most precious part of who you are.

With warmth from the person you’re becoming,

😓💦No one understands how sad you feel. Sometimes even when you are laughing on the outside you are crying on the inside.

When scientists were ranking animals, the warthog was in his holes so they ended up crowning the wrong guys.. king of the jungle title went to the lion and fastest went to the cheetah but both titles belong to the hog. Third title for the warthog is for reverse parking. Dude can reverse into a hole in the middle of a high speed chase 😂🤣 acceleration from zero is like a race car and brakes are instant.. i think its time we crown the right champions with all fairness.. if a cheetah can chase a hog and fail to catch it then we have a new champion, the V16 bi-turbo 6.5L AMG engine😂😂🤣🤣😩😩

“Real isn’t how you are made,” said the Skin Horse. “It’s a thing that happens to you. When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real.” “Does it hurt?” asked the Rabbit. “Sometimes,” said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful. “When you are Real you don’t mind being hurt.” “Does it happen all at once, like being wound up,” he asked, “or bit by bit?” “It doesn’t happen all at once,” said the Skin Horse. “You become. It takes a long time. That’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.”

Maybe the real happy ending is falling in love with the simplest parts of life.

It’s savoring that first sip of coffee in the morning, or losing yourself in the smell of freshly baked bread. It’s driving down familiar roads with the windows down, letting the air mess up your hair while your favorite song fills the car. It’s lingering on a quiet afternoon, reading the pages of a book you’ve put off for too long, letting each word wrap around you like an old friend. These moments — the ones that seem so ordinary — hold a kind of magic that fills the cracks we sometimes forget are there.

And maybe, just maybe, it’s finding a piece of joy in small things we often take for granted. Like the laughter that comes out of nowhere, shared with a stranger in a grocery store aisle. Or the comfort of a cozy night at home, wrapped up in a blanket, watching a show you’ve seen a hundred times but still brings a smile to your face.

It’s these little things that pull us back to life, that remind us of just how blessed we are, not because everything is perfect but because we find beauty in what we already have.

"I like to experience the universe as one harmonious whole. Every cell has life. Matter, too, has life; it is energy solidified. Our bodies are like prisons, and I look forward to be free, but I don't speculate on what will happen to me. I live here now, and my responsibility is in this world now."

Choose wisely, not only for you but also for your child.

Later in marriage when you hit parenthood, you'll realize what you really wish for in your spouse is not big money or 'six-pack'. A pretty face and a good bank account are nice to have but at the end of the day, there's so much more you should be looking for.

At 3am when your child is crying, and your eyes are heavy and your body is weak for postpartum, it will not be how he looks or what he owns that will matter. It'll be the compassion in his heart and the love for you in his soul that push him out of the bed to attend the child immediately and tell you,

"Go back to sleep, love. I got this."

If I could tell the younger people what to consider in a companion, I would say marry the man who will be the best father for your children. The man who will put you and your little family first, above all else. The man who is as responsible as you are in raising family because you both are in it together. In short, marry the person who will set a standard for a spouse in your children.

Because in all of these, whenever you watch your partner with your child, you'll find yourself falling in love all over again.

Choose wisely, not only for you but also for your child.
