Alright, so I was looking into getting a “Nerd miner” not to make any money but more as a way to contribute to the network and learn more about mining. Is this a good idea? By solo mining with one am I contributing? They only cost like $50-$60 I think and it doesn’t run up your power bill or anything. It’s just like a lottery chance, but that’s cool caz this is just to introduce me. Should I get one?

Yes very true! The recent news about the company NuScale having to call off their big project was very disappointing. I had high hopes for their SMR’s to maybe help scale a renaissance. 😥

So my grandma who lives in Canada, sent me a $200 check for my Birthday. She sent the check on my bday (October 31) and I receive the check 5 days later on Nov. 5th. I then have to cash the check on my Chime online bank account which it immediately informs me that the money will be deposited into my account on Friday. So it takes 5 days to get my check and then another 5 days for my bank to deposit my check 😩 ……if I had just explained to her how to use Bitcoin I would of had my money in 20-30 minutes instead of 10 days!!!
