In the trenches!

To be honest, might not have been the correct answer to your question. I did do a morning in McDonalds once

International oilfield used to be great learning experience. Never lose patience enough that you're not aware of your surroundings

Man the best part was when I finally got relieved by someone and went to the airport and they'd gone and booked the ticket in the wrong name. The people at the counter wouldn't sell me a ticket even though they were selling to others that came along. I got pissed off and stormed out of the airport in a bad mood to go find a hotel only to find myself in the middle of a big crowd of protesters at the same time as military personnel arriving jumping out the back of trucks fully armed. Took me awhile to figure out they were protesting against foreign oilfield workers. Surprised I got the chance to run back into the airport. All good fun! Thanks for the zap, will pass on to the devs!

OMG, don't go there! Dan day + Fiatjaf day + Hellthread = newbie mental breakdowns. At least everyone is used to using the hug emoji

Running a job with distributed sensors on an oil rig in a country that didn’t want foreigners where my own team were unplugging stuff and taking hammers to sensors whilst simultaneously moving all the tools and hiding shit when I tried to get some sleep.

Am just reading first chapter and wondering if he's gonna do a follow up thesis on soft power projection of nostr adoption 🧐

Just thought I'd help out with a visual representation for your shopping list prior to any ideas about moving to Costa Rica if you want things to work and to any form of exacting standard

The only thing I ever sail right now is one of these..... it might be a while, yes

Is everyone leaving Xitter?

Dunno, who's in charge of Dan day?
